Television in the age of the Internet is a very powerful tool for musicians, if they are able to exploit it on the largest level. Wax Fang‘s “Majestic” was featured on Fox’s “American Dad” back in May and the first cover of the song by an European band -in this case, a German group named Epilirium – has surfaced. The singer can’t really whistle, the lyrics sound like they were learned phonetically and it’s an acoustic band, so the lead guitar line is missing, but it’s worth a look for novelty of the thing:
Dark Side Of The Wall will honor the 40th Anniversary Of Dark Side Of The Moon with a show at Iroquois Amphitheatre on September 14. They will play the album in its entirety, as well as some tunes from the 1970s-era Pink Floyd catalog.
