The Pass

Louisville pop band The Pass will be the headliner for the inaugural show for the 2013 season of Rye’s Back Porch Sessions, on May 18 at 7 p.m. Also on the bill are Jalin Roze and a “very special guest” opening. Best of all, it’s a FREE show.

SonaBLAST! Records is rightfully touting The Pass’ slot on the SESAC SXSW show on March 13. (SESAC is one of three performing rights organizations in the U.S. The others are ASCAP and BMI) Other SonaBLAST! artists heading to SXSW include Nerves Junior, Ben Sollee and Cheyenne Marie Mize.

If you like to chase around and find those special, “secret” shows that seem to happen sometime and somewhere and you didn’t know, head over to the Louisville Secret Show Facebook page, where they will give you hints. The current ‘SS’ will happen on Thursday and feature THE PASS, Mobley, Violet Knives and Discount Guns Admission is only $3 21+ only. The clue to the location is “__________ are a girls best friend,” which would suggest Diamond Pub.
