A band called Montrous Me was on Crescent Hill Radio’s “Hippyhead’s Spotlight” last night. Check out the videos:
Between his periods of cursing and swearing to give up his web radio show, James “Fender” Vize manages to get a few things done, one of which is this: “Fender’s Den” has a app. Download it here. Then what’s happens: he’ll be bombarded with requests for more content, so he’ll have to do more shows, which he’ll have to promote, which will lead to demand for more content . . . Run for it, it’s a trap, Fender!!
After James “Fender” Vise’s Facebook rant ‘n’ rave about a band canceling at the last minute, do you wanna bet that tonight’s guests will be there, on time? Showtime is 6 p.m. Here’s the link.
Fender’s Den internet radio sis currently seeking female bands (or bands with female musicians) and solo performers for their edition of Divas Of the Den, which highlights women in the industry. The syndicated show airs to 250,000 listeners and is broadcast nationally from Louisville, Kentucky If you would like to play the show, contact Dusty June at Marketing@denofsin.tv.
Not sure if I mentioned this before but here it is again: Fender’s Den of Sin webradio show has added a female-based show once a month, set for the last Sunday of every month. Executive producer Dusty June has booked the feature through September so far. If you like your music rockin’ and your DJ’s raw, check it out.
The former radio station “Louie,” now WLGX-FM, 100.5, is getting some reaction, not all of it good, to the announcement that it will feature Gen-X music. We’ll skip the hype from Clear Channel and note that there are no DJs, hence no labor costs locally. Comments here and here. Sample playlist:
