Fender’s Den internet radio sis currently seeking female bands (or bands with female musicians) and solo performers for their edition of Divas Of the Den, which highlights women in the industry. The syndicated show airs to 250,000 listeners and is broadcast nationally from Louisville, Kentucky If you would like to play the show, contact Dusty June at Marketing@denofsin.tv.
Not sure if I mentioned this before but here it is again: Fender’s Den of Sin webradio show has added a female-based show once a month, set for the last Sunday of every month. Executive producer Dusty June has booked the feature through September so far. If you like your music rockin’ and your DJ’s raw, check it out.
The Ville Voice website is reporting that WAMZ on-air personality Bobby Jack Murphy is no longer with Clear Channel. An ad for a replacement is already up on AllAccess.com
. The bloodletting at Clear Channel continue.The former radio station “Louie,” now WLGX-FM, 100.5, is getting some reaction, not all of it good, to the announcement that it will feature Gen-X music. There’s going to be a wedding on Fender’s “Den of Sin” show. Sonny and Sheri from Hillbilly Hotdogs www.hillbillyhotdogs.com (from West Virginia) are getting married on the show on June 14, 2009, at 7pm. Sonny and Sheri have been featured several times on the Food Network’s “Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives with Host Guy Fierri.”
