The New York Times’ Vivien Schweitzer’s recent piece, titled “Survival Strategies for Orchestras,” extensively references the Louisville Orchestra as well as the “Music Makes A City” video, as well as other orchestras around the country. The focus on the article is on orchestras and orchestra management, which likely does not endear itself to musicians. Nonetheless, it’s an interesting article.
