When you are monumentally big in the jamband/concert monster scene, apparently you can do whatever you want. So it was with Jim James and Neko Case when they covered the Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers duet “Islands In The Stream” a while back. This time, it’s “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” Stevie Nicks’ 1981 collaboration with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Here’s a fan video:

On a busy Wednesday, a quick check: Le LEO has a Peter Berkowitz piece on Neko Case, who is playing Headliners on Monday. Ditto for Junip, playing Headliners on Saturday.

The C-J ran a J.L. Puckett story on Alice Cooper, who’ll be at Horseshoe Casino on Thursday. The Buzz (?) ran the story about Halfway to Forecastle that we reported on yesterday. As for the Speedy Courier, we’ll go find a copy and let you know.
