Peter Berkowitz has a chat with Joan Shelley, who has a new CD, Ginko. The release party is Saturday, April 14 at the Rudyard Kipling, with Catherine Irwin and the Hollows.

Nashville resident and Louisville native Alan Rhody is set to release his latest project, Led By Love, on October 29. The title tune was co-written by Rhody and the late Tim Krekel; the CD features Sam Bush; Mike Henderson (Steel Drivers/Mark Knopfler); Guthrie Trapp, Jonell Mosser, Crystal Gayle and Jay Patten, saxophone. Rhody will be playing songs from the project at ear X-tacy Records, beginning at 3 p.m. on October 29. He also will be on WFPK earlier that same day, talking about the project.
