The number of free tickets being given away at the moment might lead one to suppose that, overall, ticket sales are not as good as one might hope for. Nevertheless, here’s the list so far:

The Louisville Palace is giving away a pair of tickets to see Fleet Foxes. Sign up here

LEO has several promotions with the Palace:

Then there’s LEO’s promotions with Headliners & Production Simple, all essentially in-house:

B.B. King

Folks are generally happy to see B.B. King stop in town for a show, even though the last time, there was some grumbling that he talked more than he played; at eighty-five, you expect guitar fireworks? Anyway, he’ll be at the Palace on October 13. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and are $49.50, $59.50 and $69.50 at the usual plays. A side note: the Palace has redone their website; the calendar only shows a month at a time, with no general lists of shows. Boo.

Horseshoe Southern Indiana has posted their Summer Series Lineup; it looks like this: April2, Stephen Lynch; May 21, Chicago; May 22, George Jones; May 30, Lynyrd Skynyrd; June 5, Earth Wind & Fire ; June 12, Sheryl Crow; June 19, The Moody Blues; July 4, B. B. King and July 16, Trace Adkins. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster beginning March 20, 10 am or for pre-sale events, March 16 at 10 a.m. Check the Horseshoe website for particulars.
