Peter Berkowitz interviewed the garage rockers Pierced Arrows, coming to Headliners on Wednesday, May 16.

Berkowitz also interviewed Bridge 19 (Amanda Lucas and Audrey Cecil) about their new CD, The Fall Back. Finally, he reviewed Farthest Field, by Daniel Martin Moore and Joan Shelley. It’s been a busy week for LEO’s Music Editor.
Simon Isham reviewed Adventure’s newest, Brou-ha-ha.

New Late Ones CD Announced
Little Heart Records is going for a bit of pre-release puffery with the announcement of Louisville’s Late Ones new CD, “...Like The Day After a Heavy Rain,” which will be released on May 29. Everybody’s been studying the bigger boys and learning, yessss. If you can’t wait to give them money for the CD, go here.
Uncommon Houseflies Interview
The Louisville music scene is nothing if not incestuous, with writers and reviewers who are performers covering other performers who are writers and bloggers. Case in point – this podcast, featuring an interview with LMN cover story writer Kevin Gibson of the band Uncommon Houseflies, conducted by Phil Medley of the band Adventure, which Gibson just wrote up for the April issue of LMN. If it weren’t the music business, we’d all be sued or arrested or brought upon ethics charges. Instead, it’s business as usual.
