Here’s an item of interest for fans of women singer-songwriters – Mississippi’s Kate Campbell, who hasn’t been in town since playing at Crescent Hill Baptist Church, will play a house concert on October 9. Tickets are $20. Email Conway Stone at email@example.com if interested.
First out of the gate this Monday morning is the Mercury Ballroom, with a couple of annoucements. First up is the news that the Nashville band Here Come The Mummies will play on December 5, tickets $20 advance, $22 day of show. This is the second time the Mummies have played the venue this year, so this news begins to border on the very ordinary.
Next, there is an ticket package tagged the Country Club Ticket Package, which is wraps four country shows into one, with a ticket price of $40 for all four. The shows are: Josh Gracin with J. D. Shelburne on August 30; Frankie Ballard, October 24; Clayton Anderson, November 21 and Chase Rice, November 29.

The National Jugband Jubilee, scheduled for September 20 at the Brown_Forman Amphiteatre on the Waterfront, has announced the lineup for this year’s event.
