How about a little neo soul  from the L.A. indie pop band Fitz and The Trantrums, with Big Data opening, at the Mercury Ballroom on Monday, November 3? Thye’ve rattled Daryl’s House with Daryl Hall, funked it up at SXSW, and done some late-night TV with both Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Sounds like they have something happening, which they have turned into the title of their second album, 2013’s More Than Just A Dream, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative chart last September.
