The Louisville Science Center will host a exhibit called “Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World,” opening on January 22. Running through April 22, the 5,000-square-foot exhibit will explain the history and evolution of the guitar, from lutes and lyres to modern, high-tech instruments plus show how the instrument became the current cultural symbol it is. The basic adult admission to the exhibit will be $13, plus there will be a related IMAX film which can be packaged with the tickets. Locally, the exhibit is sponsored by AT&T.
