Divinity Rose’s Latest Notion

The indefatigable Divinity Rose continues on her winding path in the entertainment industry, although exactly which branch of same she is on is sometimes tricky to determine. She’s working on a new concept/show, having put her open stage ideas to rest. In the interest of saving time and brainpower, herewith is her press release:
“Dogged Dream Creations LLC is issuing a call to artists, poets, models, musicians to submit interest/work samples for juried show May 29 at Saints Sky Bar as part of regional performance artist Divinity Rose’s next performance/show. Show is presented with help from painter Kenn Parks and international fashion designer/make up artist Genna Yussman. Show is titled Poetry, Pop, and paint and is a one year anniversary show from Poets, Prophets and Punks, where Divinity Rose released her first graphic novel in 2010.
“This is a ticketed sexy/upscale event (no charge for participating artists). There will be energetic performance poets, pop music performance, art on display, live painting and body painted models.
“Participants will be selected by panel. Audience will be encouraged to vote for audience favorite (art) by ballot. Winner of audience favorite will be printed in following issue of Louisville’s hottest new all inclusive art browser, Pure Uncut Candy. “Performers, models, performance artists (live and model painters) will split a percentage of proceeds. Percentage of Proceeds will also go to non-profit Breaking New Grounds. (www.breakingnewgrounds.org)
